The Project "Open the Nature Book"
ERASMUS for schools Seirijai
In spring our gymnasium was invited by the students of Vilnius University to take part in the education project Erasmus for Lithuanian schools.
The aims of the project: to stimulate multilingualism, to encourage students to continue the second foreign language learning till the 12th form, to develop civic values and tolerance.
On the 1st of October the students of Vilnius University Kristina Selezniova , Inga Petkutė , Aidana Šiurytė, Sandra Kancauskaitė and foreign students studying at Vilnius University participating in the ERASMUS exchange programme: two French students Lila Haffaf, Pierrette Saupin , German students Adrian Probst and Jonas Dinger , a student from Latvia Baiba Aļļe , an Ukrainian student Александр Замковой and a Canadian student Geneviève Laliberté, visited our gymnasium.
During the meeting the guests presented the Erasmus exchange programme. The foreign students shared their experience about their choice to come to Lithuania and learn the Lithuanian language. They also presented their native countries.
The students of our gymnasium showed an interesting presentation about our gymnasium with songs and folk dances. They were working in groups communicating in different foreign languages.
After discussions the students visited Seirijai town and Meteliai regional park.
Olweus the Program of Bullying prevention is run at Seirijai Antanas Žmuidzinavičius Gymnasium
All schools face the bullying problem.
Visoms mokykloms tenka susidurti su patyčių problema. Seirijų A.Žmuidzinavičiaus gimnazija nusprendė imtis veiksmų, kurie padėtų sustabdyti ir užkirsti kelią patyčioms, taikant Olweus patyčių prevencijos programą. Ši moksliniais tyrimais paremta visos mokyklos „sistemos pokyčių“ programa sėkmingai taikoma daugybėje mokyklų visoje šalyje ir visame pasaulyje ir duoda teigiamų rezultatų.
Olweus patyčių prevencijos programos taikymo procesas yra gana ilgas, tačiau verta pasistengti, kad Seirijų Antano Žmuidzinavičiaus gimnazija taptų saugesnė ir jaukesnė vieta.
